Rainbow delivered furniture solutions to modern restaurant, Romeo San, in early 2025. The temaki eatery, based in Marylebone, London, required a fast turnaround on their furniture fittings to ensure their planned opening stayed on track.

The Brief

b3 Architects engaged with Rainbow to work alongside them on the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) for the new venture from the owners of Le Relais de Venise l’Entrecôte. The new restaurant: a walk-in only temaki spot inspired by handroll sushi bars in Japan and Los Angeles.

The Solution

With only 6 weeks from engagement to delivery, the Rainbow team needed to work quickly. Rainbow worked diligently alongside the architects, producing multiple rounds of options to suite the style of the bar, through changes in design and project approach – the team finally found the perfect solution: Ethnicraft’s N3 Barstool & their Casale Chair both in Natural Oiled Oak.

Clear programmes of delivery are key for all clients, especially hospitality where no furniture means no customers, which is critical to revenue. Rainbow understood the essential elements of the project and by working with our versatile selection of manufacturers, we were able to find the perfect furniture within Europe which was ordered and delivered within 2 weeks. Our team worked directly with the onsite team as the programme was running ‘to the minute’. As the furniture arrived, we returned to unbox and once the build works were complete, we returned to place out the pieces to match the client and architect’s vision.
