Workplace
Workplaces designed to inspire people and support performance
A workplace is far more than desks and chairs. It reflects a company’s culture, values and ambition, a place where people collaborate, concentrate, meet clients and spend a large part of their working lives.
For over 35 years Rainbow has helped organisations create workplaces that support productivity, wellbeing and connection, ensuring spaces work beautifully for both employees and visitors.
Environments that support the way people work
Modern workplaces need to support many different activities throughout the day. Alongside general work areas, organisations increasingly require spaces for:
-
- focused individual work
- collaboration and team discussions
- informal meetings and breakout areas
- quiet spaces for concentration
- café, social and wellbeing areas
- private areas for calls and video meetings
We also supply a wide range of acoustic office pods, providing private spaces for calls, video meetings and focused work without the need to build permanent rooms.
Creating the right balance between these environments helps organisations build workplaces that remain flexible and adaptable as the way people work continues to evolve.
Independent advice
As an independent furniture consultancy, our only priority is finding the right solutions for our clients.
We are not tied to any single manufacturer, which allows us to recommend the products and suppliers that best suit the needs, design and budget of each project.
Working with designers
Many workplace projects are delivered in collaboration with interior designers, architects and project teams.
Our role is to help bring the design vision to life through carefully selected furniture and finishes, while ensuring every element performs exactly as required in everyday use.
Bespoke solutions
A significant proportion of the furniture we deliver is bespoke or customised, enabling designers to create distinctive environments without being restricted to standard products.
Working with trusted manufacturing partners, we help turn ideas into reality while ensuring everything remains practical, robust and suitable for the workplace.
Sustainability and the circular economy
Sustainability is an increasingly important consideration for many organisations.
We support clients working towards BREEAM and WELL objectives, carefully selecting products that contribute positively to environmental performance.
Through our Re:Rainbow service, we also help organisations reuse, refurbish, rehome or recycle existing furniture wherever possible. Our connections within the circular economy allow us to both source and place furniture responsibly, extending product lifecycles and reducing waste.
We also work with manufacturing partners who demonstrate strong social responsibility, including workshops that provide training and employment opportunities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
New ways to furnish the workplace
As businesses look to reduce carbon impact and maintain greater flexibility, many are exploring alternatives to traditional purchasing.
We are increasingly supporting organisations through furniture subscription models, enabling them to access high-quality workplace furniture while reducing waste and supporting more circular approaches to furniture use.
Relationships that last
We have delivered successful workplace projects for global organisations, public sector bodies and growing businesses alike.
But for us, success is not simply about completing projects, it is about building long-term relationships. That’s why we continue supporting our clients long after installation, responding to small requests with the same care and attention as the original project.
If you are planning improvements to your workplace, we would be delighted to discuss your project.
