The Royal British Legion Pop-In Centres

Relationships Matter

The Royal British Legion is the nation’s leading armed forces charity, and spends £1.6 million a week providing social, emotional and financial care and support to serving and ex-Service people and their families.

In order to further the reach of this vital assistance, the Legion’s new high street Pop-In Centres offer a welcoming space to get practical help and advice, amongst a range of other services. Members of the public can also find out about the important work they do, and support the charity by purchasing items from the Poppy Shop directly within each Pop-In Centre.

…the Legion’s new high street Pop-In Centres offer a welcoming space to get practical help and advice, amongst a range of other services.

December 2013 saw the Legion open the first of these regional pop-in centre in Liverpool, of which there are now 16 in total.

Keen to change the perception of The Royal British Legion in order to encourage the beneficiaries of their work to pop in whenever they need to, the presentation of the client-facing areas is a key facet. Designed by Lees Associates, the colourful, inviting seating is a key feature of the space. Behind the scenes, simple, functional desking, storage and task seating allows the centre’s staff to work in comfort.

The full list of pop-in centres is below, open 10am-4pm Mon-Fri. You can find your local site on The Royal British Legion website.
